Monica Duckworth was born in 1962 in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Working as an illustrator, after her degree in Graphic design and Illustration in Brighton, England, Monica started exhibiting her paintings in 1982 in London at mixed shows and solo exhibitions with the Stephen Bartely Gallery, Kings Rd,London.
She has since then shown and sold her work in France, Andorra, Australia and Ireland, where she has lived and traveled extensively.
Her love of colour and movement is easily portrayed both in her floral, and other varied works.

Monica Duckworth est née en 1962 à Harare au Zimbabwe.
Elle a travaillé comme illustratrice après l’obtention de ses diplômes en dessin et en Design à Brighton. Monica a commencé à exposer ses peintures en 1982 à Londres dans divers salons ou en solo à la galerie Stephen Bartely (Kings Rd, Londres)
Depuis elle a exposé son travail et vendu ses œuvres en France, Andorre, Australie et Irlande. Autant d’endroits où elle a vécu et depuis lesquels elle a beaucoup voyagé.
Son amour de la couleur et du mouvement se ressent dans ses compositions sur les fleurs et ses autres travaux.
